About
Grizzlies Serve 🐻💚 connects Georgia Gwinnett College students with volunteer opportunities, campus service events, and community partners that create meaningful impact on campus and beyond. Open to all GGC students, Grizzlies Serve makes it easy to give back, explore interests, build leadership and professional skills, and connect with fellow Grizzlies.
Our work is guided by three pillars:
- Opportunity: Creating accessible pathways for students to serve, gain hands-on experience, discover their strengths, and explore causes they care about.
-
Responsibility: Encouraging students to take action, support one another, and contribute to a more supportive, sustainable, and caring community.
-
Community: Building strong, inclusive connections among GGC students, campus programs, nonprofit organizations, and the communities we serve.
Through programs such as Service in Action, Alternative Break, Grizzly Thrift, MLK Day of Service, Earth Week, blood drives, voter engagement, and the GGC Serves Expo, students can support causes ranging from food and housing security to environmental sustainability, civic engagement, and community wellness.
Whether you have an hour to volunteer, want to attend a signature event, or are seeking an immersive service experience, Grizzlies Serve is your place to get involved, grow through service, and help build a stronger community.
